2018 Ministry

2018 has been a busy year for Last Frontier Ministries! We are beyond grateful for all the teams that came up this year - even during the cold winter months!

The Pit and Coffee Shop

A safe hang out spot for locals and seasonal workers, Here they can have a camp fire, grab a coffee or a snack and listen to worship music. Our vision is to have someone who works with LFM there to be able to share the Gospel with visitors, to love on them and pray with them.

The Shop

We were in a big need for a shop to store our buses, boats, vehicles etc, to keep them out of the weather and to be able to work on them. We finally with lots of help from several teams got a good head start and it is almost finished! We also decided to use the space above the shop wisely and build two apartments for families and couples that want to partner with us

School of missions

God spoke to us a long time ago about building a school of missions and we are finally starting to see it happen! We are still a long ways away from it being finished but we believe God to provide all the funds and help like He has done in the past!

More teams, more work, more ministry, more spreading the love of Jesus Christ in the great state of Alaska!

2014 Summer Ministry

2014 brought more people to Alaska's interior to serve the Lord through LFM! We partnered again with Global Expeditions Alaska to bring teams to work in Minto, Nenana and Manley, and also welcomed back the team from Bridge Community Church in Lansdale, PA., who ministered and served in Minto.

India 2014

The Grahams & Kimmels spent time in Bangalore, India as part of their YWAM experience, doing village and house ministry, and leading VBS programs.

Hawaii 2014

The Grahams and Kimmels spent the first three months of 2014 training with the YWAM Crossroads DTS program.

Minto - October 4-15, 2013

These photos are from a team of 2 that came with us to Minto from October 4 to 15. We had 5 great nights of services and 5 days of kids programs. We spent lots of time going from door-to-door, praying for people and talking with them.

2013 Summer Ministry

During the summer of 2013 we had 48 volunteers from Teen Mania Ministries working in 3 villages. They did an incredible job teaching VBS, cleaning fish, clearing brush, helping with fish wheels and most importantly bringing the message of Christ. We also partnered with the Bridge Community Church for a week in July. Time was spent assisting 2 local churches in Healy and Nenana. They did a great job building a handicap ramp, painting, insulating water lines and many other small projects that are too numerous to list. We thank them all for their time and commitment to help further the Gospel.

Teen Mania 2010

Summer 2010 was another great time of ministry.  Last Frontier Ministries again partnered with Teen Mania Ministries in bringing up three teams to Alaska.  What an exciting time!  One of the teams headed off to Homer for a few days and then took the ferry to Port Lions where they had great ministry and even met the local wildlife (the Kodiak Grizzly).  They were all at a safe distance.  Other teams were able to travel into the interior and assist in berry picking, smoking fish, playing basketball, and assisted in several work projects.  Most importantly they were able to spread the gospel through VBS, drama and one on one personal evangelism.

Teen Mania 2009

The summer of 2009 was full of activity for Last Frontier Ministries.  This summer we worked with Teen Mania Ministries and hosted over 230 students in 7 different villages.  We participated in a variety of activities while the students were here.  Our activities included gathering fish from fish wheels, planting a garden, splitting wood, holding Vacation Bible School, holding adult and youth Bible studies, hanging out within the communities and getting to know the people.  Our focus this past summer was along the Tok cut off, Chitina and as far north as Eagle.  We had a great time.

Fiji Islands Trip

In January 2009, Last Frontier Ministries traveled to the Fiji Islands, specifically the Island of Naviti of the Yasawa Island chain.  We stayed in the village of Gunu for 3 weeks, assisting the villagers during the terrible rains that hit Fiji  (you may have heard about it on the news).  We also assisted in gathering food and firewood, performed minor medical work in 3 villages, and were able to preach the Word to the villagers as we helped them medically.  In the village of Kesse, we had a great time preaching in the Assembly of God church, which was followed by great ministry.
