Last Frontier Ministries, based in Healy, Alaska, is a non-profit organization created out of the vision of two families in 2008 for the purpose of assisting those that are in spiritual, physical and medical need in Alaska’s Interior and to those around the world.
have been actively involved in short-term missions work since 1996. Working with Teen Mania Ministries they have lead short-term missions trips to 5 continents and 13 countries. In 2004 they felt a strong pulling to go into full time ministry and have been leading short-term missions trips since then. They moved to Alaska in 2008 to start Last Frontier Ministries with Rob and Ticee.
Chris is a stay at home mom; raising and homeschooling their 3 children; Miranda, Sammy, and Isaac. She also plays an active role in both the coordinating and planning of the trips.
Sam is a graduate of both Messiah College and Misericordia University with degrees in Family Studies and Nursing. He is also a licensed minister through International Fellowship of Ministries. Sam is also currently working as a registered nurse in Fairbanks and as the volunteer EMS director in Healy when not in the villages.
Sam and Chris did a discipleship training school (DTS) with Youth with a Mission (YWAM) in 2014 together with Rob and Ticee. They are also actively involved in their home church, leading kid’s church and Youth group
